Journalism at the Speed of Discovery

TechPulse is an independent technology and science magazine committed to accurate, in-depth reporting on the ideas and inventions that are reshaping civilisation. Founded in 2018 and headquartered in San Francisco, we serve more than 2.4 million readers every month.

Why TechPulse Exists

Technology moves fast and its consequences matter. TechPulse bridges the gap between cutting-edge research and the curious, informed reader — without hype, without sensationalism.

Deep Reporting

We go beyond press releases. Every story is researched by specialists who understand the underlying science and can explain what it really means — for industry, for society, and for you.

Editorial Independence

TechPulse is editorially independent. Our advertising relationships — including with Meta — do not influence our coverage. We clearly label sponsored content and affiliate links in accordance with FTC guidelines.

Global Perspective

Our network of correspondents spans North America, Europe, and Asia-Pacific, ensuring our coverage reflects the truly global nature of technological change and its uneven distribution of benefits and risks.

From a Newsletter to a Global Newsroom

TechPulse started in 2018 as a weekly email newsletter by founder and editor-in-chief Alexandra Reed, a former science correspondent at the San Francisco Chronicle. What began as a curated digest for a few hundred friends in the Bay Area tech community grew organically to 50,000 subscribers within eighteen months.

Today, TechPulse Media Group LLC employs 48 full-time journalists, researchers, and editors distributed across six countries. We remain privately owned, with no venture capital investors and no editorial obligations to any technology company.

Our coverage spans artificial intelligence, space exploration, quantum computing, biotechnology, climate tech, and consumer electronics. We are committed to following the evidence wherever it leads, correcting errors promptly, and treating our readers as intelligent adults who deserve complete and accurate information.
